can you feel it?  is it getting cooler?  it is taking it's time here, but any escape from the recent waves of heat is welcome.  though, like so many of you i am sure, i am daydreaming about boots, scarves, and sweaters; windy walks that kiss your cheeks and coming home to savory soups.  the apartment is still coming together - closer to being finished everyday, adie starts school this week - ayla the next - busy, busy, busy.  some things i am loving...

~ i do not wear a lot of color but i adore this dress;

~ mixing it up a bit and listening to:  chromeo, black oak arkansas, faith no more and  jeff buckley right now;

~ as summer comes to a close, i find myself coming back to this photo again and again;

~ and this polaroid that amanda took of ayla and i on the beach in vancouver this summer is one for my favorites photos.  ever;

~ once again gobsmaked by pamela love's latest look book, that cuff on page 14?  yes please;

~ i have always wanted a half sleeve but felt like maybe it was too much for me.  well - i seem to be slowly working towards it anyway - wait until you see what i do next - LOVE brian at hand of glory - love;
