hello friends - i hope your weekend is warm where you are. i had the pleasure of photographing a few polaroid portraits of this cherub visiting from los angeles yesterday - every time i do one of these sessions i fall in love with polaroid all over again - how is that even possible considering how much i already love it? i don't even know. she is the youngest i have worked with so far and was fascinated with the camera - as most children are - so amazing watching them react as the photograph pops out of the camera...
have a wonderful sunday - we've had five amazing {but tough} days of detox - but we won't talk about what happend today, okay?

Polaroid just does that ~ it's the ultimate charmer. :) It makes magic possible, and that's a tough thing to find at the touch-click-whirr of a button.

I still remember how my girls thought your camera was like magic when you were here to take photos of them. Lovely one, that girl.

My son has always had more patience for the polaroid camera than the digital ~ a combination of loving the sound that it makes and the fact that he doesn't have to tolerate multiple digital shots (although I do still impose it upon him occasionally).
That's a beautiful shot Jen ~

what a sweet shot. yes i've noticed that my two year old is more mesmerized at my diana than my dslr. interesting instinct.

brooke - yes it does ;) and so funny we have used that same "click * whirr" in the text of our book - great minds think alike ;)
they were so good kelly - how is your beautiful family?
carol & tammy - so true - they respond so differently, don't they?
