i am overwhelmed. overwhelmed by some recent sad news from home, by the absence of my husband as he works away from home, by the business of everyday that i can not seem to get caught up on, but equally overwhelmed by the unconditional love of my girls, of friends who fly across the country to help me, by the love and light captured on a sunny seaside in nantucket last weekend, by strangers who treat me like family - all of this - the stress and the splendor, keep me afloat. i realize i have been absent from this space often as of late - life is full, and for that i am grateful. when i do have quiet moments, i spend them snuggling or daydreaming. in this haze i forgot to share that the wedding i shot in beaune, france was featured on 100 layer cake - such an honor - you can see it here. it will be quiet until next week while i go through all of the images i shot last weekend - i can not wait to share them with you...

The France photos are just beautiful Jen. I look forward to seeing the Nantucket ones :-)
So sorry about the sad news though. And friends, well they are simply amazing aren't they? They hold us up when we need them the most.
