another amazing week in new york. my parents arrived mid-week and we have been having so much fun discovering new finds in the neighborhood and adding the final touches to the apartment. the girls are making new friends quickly in the neighborhood park and we took a leisurely stroll through our beautiful community garden. toby's public house {literally around the corner} and sidecar {just down the street} are our new favorites. sidecar features some of the most amazing and original cocktails ever and adie downed her first plate of fried oysters - such a happy girl. we found an amazing antique glass and brass bar cart this weekend and bought some delicious ginger syrup from morris kitchen while at the flea market. dry dock is our new go-to and i am so happy to finally have been able to visit saipua - more gorgeous than i could have imagined.
i will check in later this week - happy monday friends...

p.s. a peek at the dining room.

Sounds like a great weekend! I'm looking forward to reading about more Brooklyn discoveries in the future. :)

Haha! I am new to your blog (a friend of mine tweeted about your beautiful pictures) but I am also literally a block away from Toby's public house. So funny!
