i have been keeping something from you. and it's not that i did not want to share it. because, really, i was bursting at the seams - wanting to share this with you so very much. but i just needed to make sure that everything fell into place like we hoped - and this last weekend, it did. in just two weeks we are moving to brooklyn, new york. den and i just returned from brooklyn - we gave ourselves five days to find an apartment - we saw our apartment the evening we arrived and signed the lease the following evening leaving us three full days to explore our new neighborhood. to say we are excited is an understatement - and the girls - oh my goodness - they are quivering with excitement and anticipation - i can't tell you how much i love the fact that they have such adventuresome little spirits and are so adaptable to new experiences. why brooklyn? i am ready to jump into the deep end - i love my work, it fills me with love and hope and i want to try and take the next step. and for our family. our girls thrive on experience and their capacity for knowledge and wonder knows no bounds. i think - i hope and believe - we will find such wonder in our new city.
it's going to be a crazy month {i always say that don't i?} but you know us - we are always up for a challenge... i will keep you posted!
and i have started accepting bookings for both weddings and polaroid portrait sessions in the new york city area - so just drop me a line if you would like more information...

What an exciting adventure! I just moved to the San Francisco peninsula from New York City. I lived in Manhattan for three years. My favorite apartment? A little refurbished place on Mulberry between Prince and Spring in Nolita.
The inspiration in New York City is everywhere. Around every corner. I can only imagine the moments you'll capture. Enjoy every second!
