~ and we experienced our first {then second, then third, then fourth - there may have been a fifth} sazerac cocktail this weekend - with real absinthe {don't ask} - it was HEAVEN.

I had some real absinthe in France this weekend - it was so good. You have it in a fancy big glass and then put a sugar cube over in an ornate silver tea strainer affair and pour water on it until the absinthe goes cloudy and then sip - you've got to try that! it ceratinly made us walk a bit wobbly afterwards!
