i have not fallen off the side of the earth.  i promise.  but things have been busy - in ways that i did not expect, and in ways that have been a little overwhelming.  our road trip south that we expected to take turned into a road trip north and was accompanied by a round of flu and other less traumatic dramas.  a few work related things are starting to take shape in new and rather exciting ways - and our life in general is taking a new direction.  i promise to share more in the coming weeks - thank you for the emails and comments - thank you for your love and understanding... be back soon.
