The-end

can you feel it?  this week has bestowed us with cool mornings, crisp eves and the air has filled our lungs with autumn.  the season usually does not greet us so early in the year, and as this is the midwest, a late heat wave would be nothing new.  but the fact that we have had the windows open all week - that i slipped on my frye work boots for the first time in months and that the tips of trees in our neighborhood are already blushing, leaves me ready to greet autumn with an open embrace.  so farewell dear summer - it has been one of magic - dappled sun and cool washes in the pool, thank you for a beautiful season.

a happy fall to you dear friends.  i hope to continue to share our joys with you - the turn of a season always has been a great time of reflection for me.  we are making some changes in our life for the better - these new adventures fill me with happiness, yet they are of the simplest turns - little changes in our daily routines that will keep me from being on the computer as much - and honestly, i welcome them.  i will however continue to check in once or twice a week sharing beautiful moments filled with light and love and wonderful places i love to explore when i do have a few moments to indulge in the wonderful online community that has been so good to me for so long.

have a wonderful weekend friends and i will meet you here next week...

we are feeling fall here too. It came too fast for me....I'm not ready for all the work that comes with it:)
but I do enjoy the cooler weather.
have a wonderful weekend!

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here lately. I adore these cool nights and pulling on sweaters and blankets. Have a great weekend!

your photo is so incredibly wonderful - dara torres watch out! enjoy your new schedule.

Hi. I am just awkwardly saying hello. I stumbled upon your blog the other day and I'm really digging your style -- the photo with cursive title, the caption. So, yeah. Just wanted to say that. :)

how precious!
i love the bathing caps...my grandma always wore one, and this reminds me of that: we would only see this crazily colored floral rubber headpiece bobbing about in the water as she did the sidestroke in the family pool. :)

Happy Autumn :o) Your blog is beautiful! I am having a great time looking through your polaroid pictures. They are absolutely classic and I love the stories they tell! Take care.

I wish I was feeling fall, it's still on the 100's here!

Bon week-end ! as you say in France...

I was walking with my husband and dog yesterday, and we had to stop and smell and it was there in the air. Fall is here.

Lovely, I am looking forward to Fall this year and it looks like it's just about here. Where did you get the wonderful swim caps? So sweet.

I can hardly believe how early autumn has come to us here in the midwest. I wanted to say goodbye to summer, but I am happy with the cool mornings and evenings. enjoy your weather up in omaha! xo
